Below are some solutions of how to solve this problems:
Adjust date on your PC.
- Double-click on clock and check whether date and time are well settled.
- Check that the identification data (login and password) are entered correctly (upper or lower case), if they are not registered.
- Trying to change the password passe@memberservicesnet.passport.com / memberservice.srf and attempt a connection to MSN.
Check Firewall settings
- If a firewall such as ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security, etc is installed on your PC, It may be probable that Messenger did not have sufficient rights to access the Internet, especially if an updated MSN was done recently. Add MSN Messenger to the list of programs that have permission to access the Internet in this case.
Clear the cache of Internet Explorer and delete cookies
Open Internet Explorer, click on
