[Thunderbird]Emoticons are displayed in text format

Issue

I'm using Thunderbird to manage my hotmail account, upon receiving messages, I've noticed that the emoticons are displayed in the text format, is there any way to have them as "graphics"..

Solution

• Open Thunderbird
• Click on Tools> Options
• Move to the "Display" tabs
• In the "Plain Text Messages" section
• Check the box next to "Display emoticons as graphics"

• Validate with the Ok button.
