Excel -Encrypt your Workbook with a password
To protect your confidential data you can assign a
password to your workbooks. A simple procedure:
- Open the workbook, click on File > Info > Permissions >Encrypt with a password
- In the Dialog box that opens, enter your password and validate with OK
- You will be required to re-enter your password and click on OK again.
- The status of Permissions for the particular workbook will change:
