Samsung mobile phones are popular among gamers, but games which are downloaded and integrated often fail to be installed on the phone. This is due to a formatting issue of the game extension that the OS (operating system) of the Samsung-517 mobile phone fails to recognize. The game must have .jar / .jad extension which needs to be transferred to Other Files. Specific codes have to be inserted, depending on the handset, through the settings in Games, which can be installed in mobile phones through the File Management settings. Technological problems can no longer trouble anyone, with the revolution of telephony.

Standard installation procedure for almost all Samsung models

• Example based on the E900 model:
  • Transfer the game (which should have the extension .jar/ or .jad) to Other files
  • Go to the main screen of the mobile and type the following code:

    • *#9998*5282#

  • If required, select "Middlet install " and type the code "235828"
  • Select .jad to launch the game installation mode

Alternative installation for specific models

• Example based on U600 models:
  • Transfer the game (which should have the extension .jar/ or .jad) to Other files
  • Go to the main screen of the mobile and type the following code:

  • *#9998*4678255#

  • Then select File Management > Other Files, select .jad and click on Options > Install game to launch installation.
