The RCA connector (Radio Corporation of America, sometimes called CINCH) is a connector used for transporting audio or video signals.
The RCA plug is used to send video and audio signals (in mono or stereo) through a two-wire cable, with either an analog or digital transmission method.
The connector's colour indicates how it is meant to be used. For stereo analog audio transmissions, the connectors are red and white:
