NVU is a free WYSIWIG HTML editor (What You See Is What You Get), that means that it is a software allowing to create HTML pages visually by means of a graphic interface.
So, NVU represents a free alternative to the traditional HTML editors such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage.
Its main features are the following ones:
- WYSIWYG editor allowing to publish pages so easily that a letter can be written with a word processor,
- Integrated file management with FTP support, allowing to connect directly to the site in order to modify pages on-the-fly.
- Valid HTML code, compatible with all the standard browsers.
- Easy Passage from the visual mode to the source code thanks to tabs.
- Edition by tab allowing to work simultaneously on several files.
- Support of forms, boards and sizes.
