VoipBuster (Internet/Telephony/VoIP)
VoipBuster is similar to the very popular Skype. It allows to phone towards fixed telephones from a computer.
It allows to phone free of charge, towards any fixed telephone based in one of the following countries:
· Austria
· Denmark
· Finland
· Germany
· Greece
· Ireland
· Luxembourg
· The Netherlands
· Norway
· Spain
· Sweden
· Switzerland(Swiss)
· Taiwan
· The United States
· … but no more in France, because price lists are henceforth of a centime of euro per minute.
For the countries which are called “free”, the calls are limited to one minute. After buying 10 euro of credits, you can have unlimited calls towards these countries, without spending your credits.
The interface and parameter setting are rudimentary but the software is completely functional. After connecting your micro-helmet, to dial is possible, but you must seize the numbers of your correspondents in international version (for example, +33 1 02 03 04 05, to call a number in Paris). As far as sound quality is concerned, VoipBuster is as good as Skype.
Besides, by crediting your account VoipBuster, you can have a free entering number which is valid all around the world. Skype charges this service 30 euro a year.
