Description User's advices

It is too bad that the latest version of Windows 7 has not been equipped with a program for viewing GIF animations. That is why Stefan Wobbe has developed this tool. As its name suggests, GIF Viewer allows to view GIF animations. It may not be very developed but its several features and lightness make it a very useful tool. It is a freeware and compatible with Windows XP/2000/2003/Vista and 7, it would be better try it before judging.

I realized that the insaller ALWAYS installs the program at the Program Files on C: drive. I would like it if we are given the option of choosing which directory we would like to install GIF Viewer.

I really like this program, and it is a much better alternative than web browsers just to open animated .gif files.

Brilliant. Does it what it needs to. So much better than internet explorer. My gifs look clear and move at the correct speed.

The gifs has a terrible low frame rate. Works much better to just open them in the browser.

This is very convenient, no more using Chrome to open them. There's no loading time, and it works flawlessly. There's just one thing that I feel could be improved; having a <- and -> buttons to skip through .gifs in the same directory that the currently open file is in.
