Nowadays, we can say that the so-called third generation phones are beginning to flood the market.
Web-3G is a tool for communication between a 3G phone and a PC equipped with a webcam.
Key Features
- Video call: VOIP services like Skype or MSN are no longer needed with this tool. Indeed, Web-3G enables to communicate in video mode or "vision" for a 3G phone with people who have installed Web-3G on their computer.
- Connection: to receive the call, Web-3G provides a 4-digit code that will be used to identify your computer. Whenever you call, you will need to enter this code. This avoids any spy and infiltration on your computer system.
- Call condition: it is useful to know that for the call to be feasible, the person who wants to correspond with you must have a 3G phone. It will call a special number and communicate this identifier to start the audio/video communication with the computer in question, and can thus establish communication with you.
System requirements
- Operating Systems: Win 95, Win 98, Millenium, Win 2000, Win XP, Win Vista.
Pros
- Web-3G is efficient for 3G mobile phone users.
- Its intuitive interface makes its handling easy.
Cons
- The trial version is only usable for a few days.
- It is not yet available for Mac OS and Linux.
