To make Windows easier to use is to copy the CAB files from a CD onto your hard disk. Thus, no need to use the CD every time you would like to install new hardware. Unfortunately, Windows always requires the CD and at the same asks you where you have copied the CAB file until the arrival of BanishCD. This is a small utility that allows you to change the directory where Windows looks for CAB files. Previously, the only way was to modify the registry but it is risky. With this tool, you only need to specify the folder and if there is an error, it will store the original directory.
