taskswitch.exe (taskswitch stands for task switching) is a Windows 2000/XP generic process for switching from one task to another by pressing the ALT+TAB keys simultaneously.
The process taskmgr is not in any way a virus, a worm, a Trojan horse, spyware, or adware.
It is a critical system process which may not be terminated.
