mdm.exe (mdm stands for Machine Debug Manager) is a Windows NT/2000/XP generic process used to debug applications. This service is intended for advanced users or programmers and is installed by the Microsoft Script Editor bundled with Microsoft Office.
The process mdm is not in any way a virus, a worm, a Trojan horse, spyware, or adware.
It is a process which can be terminated.
