dumprep.exe (dumprep stands for Dump Reporting Tool) is a Windows 2000/XP/2003 generic process which creates a memory status report (a memory dump) whenever a software error occurs.
The process dumprep is not in any way a virus, a worm, a Trojan horse, spyware, or adware.
It is a system process which can be terminated.
