The process ati2evxx.exe (ati2evxx stands for ATI External Event Utility EXE Module) is a process which enables shortcut keys for accessing the control panel of ATI graphics cards. The ATI control panel, found in the taskbar, is used for changing the definition, the bit depth (the number of colours), etc.
It is an application which can be terminated manually using the task manager.
