The role of a product manager is to track a product's lifecycle, and to plan improvements to it so as to increase sales.
The product manager must have good organisational and interpersonal qualities, as he/she works in concert with all individuals who participate in the product's lifecycle (including production, development, marketing, before-sales and after-sales).
A product manager's salary may vary from $30k-$50k (£15k-£25k) a year.
