Affiliation is a sales technique in which a website is the distributor of a commercial website's products. It is a business partnership between an online sales website (the parent website) and a group of distribution websites (the affiliates). The affiliation program thus allows the parent website to use the traffic and visibility of partner websites as new sales channels.
